Our advent calendar has random doors open, and almost ALL chocolate missing.
The other day I was just laying on the couch watching tv, Macie runs past me, straight to the advent calendar and starts eating the chocolate behind the doors. She had no idea I was right there watching her. She turned around saw me, and looked stunned, With a mouth full of chocolate she said, "Mommy, can I please have a chocolate?"
Needless to say, she has her mama's self-control :)
This idea is not mine. I was surfing blogs and saw a trend in photography of posting a photo every day for a year. I fell in love with the idea and am copying it. So, this blog is strictly dedicated to photography. One photo, maybe more each day for a full year. It is my hope that simplicity will tell the story of me.
A mother of two, my primary interest is children and family portrait photography. I love children of all ages and I love photographing them doing what kids do...play, sleep, play, eat, play some more. I also love capturing the loving interactions between parents and their children. There is no sweeter bond. And on occasion I enjoy photographing that big 40-year-old kid. Really, it is most men that I know...and some women...and from time to time, myself. I hope you enjoy this blog. To see more, go to www.photographybyginamarie.com
